20% calcium chloride dihydrate in ethyl alcohol has been shown to be effective in neutering male cats and dogs. This chemical has been around many years. It's been known to permanently sterilize dogs for many years. People weren't using it because of a few reasons most of which had to do with money.

Based on her posts online Alya loves her kids, loves being a mother, loves jewelry. She hates slavery, feeling oppressed, being oppressed, being forced to be silent, forced to do what Gary says. She hates Gary and would rather have a cat than Gary. She craves true love, kindness, freedom, real friends, She feels that her heart has become dark and bitter. She is angry and depressed. She is looking for the door, for the way out. I don't blame her one bit. Hopefully her bearding contract is over soon. She deserves a bonus for putting up with Gary.

Did Alya just give birth to Grace Caitlin Michelson? Back in 2006 Gary Michelson said he thought it was too late for him to have kids. He didn't think he'd make a good husband or father. I'll agree with that. Out of the other side of his mouth he said he'd like five kids to carry on his name.

Gary Michelson's "Prize" kills animals - ex-Forbes billionaire, crazy, Los Angeles, California

Dr Gary Michelson first offered his "Prize" in 2008. It was "Found Animals will offer a $25 million prize to the first entity to provide to the Foundation with a safe, effective, and practical non-surgical sterilant for use in cats and dogs." I sent him five drugs which do this. I'm sure many others did the same. He had no intention of ever awarding the "Prize" so he changed the rules in 2009. Every year since then he keeps changing the rules moving the goal posts farther and farther away until now they reach up into the clouds of impossibility. The drug must now be a "one shot/dose, permanent sterilant for both cats, dogs which is a new drug which he can patent for money." The winner of the Prize is up to Gary's sole discretion. Ifffffff Gary Michelson's true goal was to end pet over population and stop euthanasia in shelters, wouldn't he have awarded the Prize by now and been sterlizing all cats, dogs he could find? That would make sense but not for Gary. Gary likes to dangle money in front of people so they will like him, want to be his friend. He's like that sad joke "You so ugly your momma had to put bologna all over you just so the dog would play with you." The Prize is bologna which Gary has draped himself in. It Gary gives the dog the bologna, the dog will take it and run away to eat it leaving Gary all by himself.

Think about it this way. What if someone gave Gary a drug that would sterlize cats but not dogs. Let's say someone else gives him a drug that will sterilize dogs and not cats. Gary would say "eff you, losers!" to both of them. If Gary truly wanted cats and dogs to be sterilized, he could have split the prize in half giving half to each one and he could start sterilizing cats and dogs. He could have done this in 2008 if he really wanted to help animals because the drugs already exist. If I gave him five drugs, I'm sure there were more out there. That turns out to be the case.

I'm talking about Calcium Chloride, Chem-cast, Neutersol...and the others. We've had drugs for many years which will sterilize male cats and dogs with one shot. In fact if you were able to use an ultrasound, you could probably properly inject it into the ovaries of female animals. The key is placement of the needle.

All of these drugs are basically irritants. You inject anything irritating into the testicle or ovary (high saline content sterile liquid, lactic acid, calcium chloride...), it will damage cells, cause the body to kill the damaged cells, form scar tissue and now the animal is infertile. It also lowers the hormone levels to levels where they would not mark or go into heat.

So why doesn't Gary use his money to buy a lot of calcium chloride and start injecting animals? Because then no one will like him without his "Prize." Trust me, even with all his money people don't really like Gary. They just put up with him and only in exchange for money. He also wants to make even more money. He wants to make a drug to sell for profits. This drug already exists and is $1/dose. There's no money there for him. Fuck the animals! He didn't even neuter his own dog Bull!

Gary obviously does not care about animals at all. His Michelson Prize is a total sham. Michelson is a fraud. He reminds me of Dave Weisman, David Allen Weisman of the fake DAX Foundation which was a supposed $75 million dollar foundation that gave money to help animals, poor people and the arts. Dave used his fake foundation just to score with women. It was not a legal corporation or non-profit. The guy has nothing and has been arrested three times in the last two years for various offenses. He has lawsuits, liens, judgments against him, owes money right and left. His entire career has been a fraud. Check criminal and civil court documents in Pacer and California. He's ripped off many people.

Why hasn't anyone else used these cheap existing drugs to end pet over population? The veterinary industry does not want a cheap one shot alternative to spay and neuter surgery. They make MONEY performing surgery! It's just like Dyson's vacuum bag-less cleaner. The competition did not want to introduce a bag-less vacuum cleaner because they make money on the bags. I personally used to just empty the bags and re-attach them. I realized it was a waste. No one would buy Dyson's idea so he had to produce the vacuum cleaner himself. I love his invention especially the one with the wheel barrow wheel. That was revolutionary but his competition didn't want it. Now they all had to upgrade their vacuum cleaners and stop selling bags.

If you go to the website, there are instructions on how to make and use the drug to sterilize. This is meant for veterinarians. Please, spread the word about this drug. They really need it in India where they have dog over population and rabies.

Calcium Chloride, animal sterilization and why Gary Michelson won't help. There's no money in this for him

There are many currently available chemicals which will neuter animals. Gary Michelson knows all about them but he won't fund or use one because there is no money in it for him. If there's no money to be made, hell with that. Here is but one injection. Of course it only works on males so no prize for them. Every time someone fulfills the requirement of the prize, Gary Michelson adds more hoops to jump through, e.g. "it a new drug that neuters all animals with one injection or pill." Gary: "Okay, but it also has to make dogs speak English and shit gold."

I just realized that if Gary Michelson took $20M of his $75M Prize (which he will never award to anyone but himself), he could get rid of pet over population in the entire world in one year. Instead he wants someone to give him a drug that he can sell to the pharmaceutical companies for more than the prize money. Gary Michelson wants to make money off the suffering of animals with no homes, in the streets, dying in shelters, thrown off bridges to die, living with no vet care, not enough food, hit by cars and killed in the street, all alone. Gary Michelson wants to hold unwanted pets hostage in exchange for getting shelters to buy his expensive sterilant so he can make money. Sick.

Gary Michelson gives award to person for spreading positive pitbull propaganda, Forbes billionaire

Dr Gary Michelson Forbes billionaire gave an award to Andrew and Clara Yori who adopted one of the Michael Vick pitbulls. I believe that dog was a bait dog and not one of the ones trained to fight. The aggressive fighters were euthanized.

I have nothing against Andrew or Clara Yori. They rescue and help dogs. I do have something against giving an award to someone for spreading only positive propaganda about pitbulls. I don't think pits should be euthanized. I just feel that people should not promote pits OVER all other breeds. I personally would rather adopt a labrador from the shelter than a pitbull. I fostered a pitbull, took the pitbull classes, had the special collars and such. It just is not worth the worry and risk. Plus, if you adopt a pit that means another breed of dog in the shelter dies. That is breed specific discrimination or reverse discrimination.

Dr. Gary Michelson tells people that pitbulls are the "best" of all dog breeds. Pitbulls are the "best" in some categories. As proven by independent insurance company, US Postal Office statistics, they are the number one dog breed to cause death and severe mauling.

Dr Gary Michelson even paid a lawyer to file an appeal to try to stop the Colorado BSL. She lost. Very recently they tried to overturn that legislation again...and lost again. Gary pays Aimee Gilbreath to write pro-pit articles using all the totally faked info i.e. "it's how you raise them," "the dead victims are responsible for their attack," "the mother of the dead baby killed her own baby..."

Gary Michelson identifies with the most undesired animals, i.e. pitbulls, feral cats. He identifies with them as he is the most undesired of people. Growing up he had no friends because he was and still is very strange. Gary's inability to properly socialize with people caused him to become very bitter and driven to revenge. When people don't want to be his friend because he is so strange Gary goes 5150 on them and files false police reports. He tries to and sometimes does destroy them.  Gary is an unwanted, hated pitbull. His genetics make him snap easily. He then viciously attacks people and tries to destroy them or have them killed.

The people Found Animals honored at the function are good animal advocates. Erika Brunson is amazing, Herb Wesson is great, Jackson Galaxy really helps animals, Lori Weiss of Downtown Dogs is fantastic, Karen Bass, Father Boyle...all great people.

I'm glad Found Animals is helping animals and supporting these rescuers. I just think he needs to re-evaluate his stance on the promotion of pitbulls over other breeds and outdoor TNR cat colonies. There is independent research done by government agencies, insurance industry which show that Gary Michelson is in the wrong. When I worked for him he demanded that I use independent research to support my recommendations. Now he no longer wants to see anything which doesn't support his personal feelings.

USC is a private university. Their main goal is money, not research. They intentionally contacted Gary Michelson to beg for money in their most recent fundraising program. UCLA is doing the same. It's kind of like a competition. They get money from anyone who has it for whatever reason. Gary is just a pawn in the game.

In exchange for his $50M, he gets to get up there and speak. They even made him a cake when he handed them the check. They got some journalism student to write this totally false and unresearched bit. Again, everyone knows that Thomas Edison has many more patents than Gary Michelson. Edison's first patent was at the age of 21. "Edison was awarded 1,093 U.S. patents across a wide variety of technologies. Including his foreign patents, successfully filed in other countries, his total is 2,332."

Something more important to note is that only one of Gary Michelson's patents amounted to anything. That is the threaded spinal cage which he stole from two other doctors. One of those doctors was a horse veterinarian who made the cage for horse backs.

Thomas Edison on the other hand made patents which were useful and original. Gary Michelson stole one patent and the rest aren't worth anything. I'm repeating what experts in his field of spinal patents have stated in published peer reviewed articles. I read his ridiculous paperclip patent. He said it's superior to the basic paper clip. No, it's not. Most of his patents aren't worth anything.

I wonder if USC is following the criminal trial that's happening right now because of Gary Michelson. I wonder if Gary Michelson brought his armed guards to USC or was it just for show for the trial.

Other companies beating Gary Michelson to chemical sterilization, Zeuterin

This drug was originally introduced before Gary Michelson came on the scene. It was called Neutersol but is now called Zeuterin. When originally sold as Neutersol the company did not train the veterinarians how to properly inject the animal. Some dogs has complications such as swollen testicles. The shot has to be precise. Neutersol went under but new company Zeuterin is here.

They have developed a better way to train veterinarians to give the shot properly. Again, Gary Michelson knew about this drug. We spoke about it when the company was floundering. It would have been a good idea for Gary Michelson to have bought the license or rights to the drug at that time but he didn't. Gary Michelson does not want to solve overpopulation. He wants to make money and get good press. He now admits that he only gives to groups that make him "feel good." Meanwhile other people are out there trying to solve the problem.

The article brings up an interesting point. Gary Michelson wants to make money. He wants a product he can patent, own and sell for profits and glory. He doesn't care about reducing overpopulation. If he did he would use one of the many already developed, patented, tested drugs to reduce overpopulation. The Michelson Prize was set up to give $25M for a one shot sterilant for male/female cats/dogs. This article notes that developing a drug to solve third world problems won't make you money. Veterinarians make money selling spay and neuter. They won't want to use the drug because they don't make as much money. This is something public shelters, rescuers, third world countries would want or some philanthropist who truly cares about animals. They won't pay $25M for it. This is another reason why Gary Michelson is not giving out the award.

The only way I could see someone willing to pay $25M for such a drug is if it can be used for pest control. There is definitely a market for humane pest control. By pest control I mean reducing number of say mice, rats, pigeons, ground squirrels, wild bunnies, gophers, moles, voles, bats, crows, starlings, house sparrows, deer.... unprotected nuisance wildlife. I believe a post or two ago I posted about a new sterilant they will be using with rats. Now that could be worth something.

Aimee Gilbreath ordered the ghoulish dog head award plaques

I thought that dog head award looked familiar. It's Gary Michelson's dog Bull. It seems Aimee Gilbreath found a sculptor who made wooden carousel dogs. The sculptor Tim Racer is actually very talented. He's also a huge pitbull fan just like Gary Michelson. Gary Michelson believes pits are the best breed. He says this breed is better than others. I don't agree.

Aimee Gilbreath ordered Gary Michelson's dog Bull head on a plate and gave it to him as a gift, award. Gary Michelson pays his employees to give him gifts and awards. How pathetic is that? Here it is. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa who did not like Gary Michelson because he didn't give the money he promised is holding Gary Michelson's dog Bull's head on a plate along with his then girlfriend Lu Parker and Councilmember Cardenas. AV is giving his phony smile as usual. So funny to see AV smiling here after the negative things he said about Gary Michelson.

Another head on a plate. Why would someone want their pets head on a plate?

Aimee Gilbreath knows nothing about pets or animals. Who would want their pets head on a plate? No one! It looks like John the Baptist's head on a plate. This shows you how out of whack Aimee Gilbreath is when it comes to animals. I love my Nana. Would I want her head made out of wood on a plate? No! Now if he ordered his entire dog sculpted out of wood, fine. But just the head cut off like a hunting trophy is disgusting.

Gary Michelson stated he wanted someone to run Found Animals who knows nothing about animals. He said animal people are crazy. He wanted someone to run Found Animals like a business. Found Animals is a non-profit. He should have at least found someone who knows something about non-profits.

After Aimee gives a dog head to Michelson she ordered them as awards for other people. Again, a profile of Gary's dog's head on a plaque. There is something very wrong with Aimee and Gary to order these plaques. All of the rest of that sculptor's work is designed well but not these heads. When I say designed well, I mean thought out well. The concept of having a pet's head on a plate or plaque is just gross. Aimee gave the sculptor the order and he did exactly as she instructed. It's Aimee who doesn't know what the hell she is doing, not the sculptor who was just following orders.

As per Found Animals this event was at Mr. C in Beverly Hills. I thought Aimee meant Mr. Chow's but the photo does not look like Mr. Chow's because it's not. It's Mr. C hotel in Los Angeles. It's south of Beverly Hills. Why would she want to say it's Beverly Hills when it's clearly not?

Gary Michelson reinvents the wheel and sues original wheel inventor

"No need to reinvent the wheel" is a common phrase. It of course means why make a new product when you already have a fine product. This is similar to Gary Michelson's Prize not to mention his silly paperclip patent. He is offering $25M for a one dose sterilant for male, female, cats and dogs and another $50M for research into said product. We already have drugs that do that. Why reinvent the wheel? In this case if Gary reinvents the wheel he can force all wheel inventors to pay him a license or stop making wheels. He can sell his wheel and make money just like the threaded spinal cage patent. It's all about putting more money in Gary's pocket. Let me explain.

Right now we have drugs that will permanently sterilize animals. They've already been tested. The drugs were invented, discovered, made many years ago by other people. Gary Michelson knew this before he offered his "Prize." Gary does not care about ending pet overpopulation. He is fine watching millions of animals being needlessly born, living short inhumane lives, dying on their own on the street or killed in an animal shelter. He could be using his money to buy and administer the known drugs to stop the insanity of pet overpopulation...but he chooses not to do so.

Instead Gary Michelson the money hoarder decides to offer a "Prize" for a one dose sterilant. The catch is "He" must be able to patent then sell it for profits. Gary dangles a prize so people can make even more money for him. Gary is a money hoarder. While he may not buy expensive cars, yachts, jewelry, he does like having, controlling a lot of money. Perhaps because he grew up poor money has always been his main goal. In fact I bet he got into spine surgery because it's lucrative. I now don't believe he got into spine surgery to help his granny's old back. His high school year book in 1965 said he wanted to be a lawyer, not a doctor. Plus, he was a psychology major in undergrad, not pre-med.

Gary Michelson is hoping to patent and sell his own drug for profits. I believe he is trying to knock off human sterilants as animal sterilants. He is trying to reinvent the wheel. That is why when I spoke to Abbott Laboratory who makes Lupron they said they will change their label, patent to say it can also be used as an animal sterilant. This way Gary Michelson can't be a patent troll with their patent. If Gary were to have made a drug one molecule, ingredient, element off and stated it was to sterilize animals, he could get the patent. It has to be a new drug with a different purpose. This way if a company such as Lupron were to start selling their human sterilant as an animal sterilant Gary could sue them or ask for a licensing fee.
