Jewish Journal, B’nai B’rith write glowing article about Gary Michelson's made up history

The Jewish Journal and B'nai B'rith wrote a glowing article about Gary Michelson's made up life and history. It was actually written December 2015. They just republished it. I believe they are writing this glowing article to hopefully get donations and money. They even asked him why he doesn't donate to Jewish causes. He told them he doesn't because that's thinking small and he never asks people what their religion is. I believe they are republishing it because Gary Michelson and his PR team donated some money. Gary has been trying to post lots of news since March 31, 2016. I believe he's doing it to hopefully drown out the articles coming out about his evil, vindictive false criminal complaint against an ex-friend. USC articles are also being reposted. Looks like a calculated PR push.

For the entire time that I knew Gary Michelson he never once said anything about being Jewish or celebrating Jewish holidays. Here in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, most are Jewish so one would not feel odd about telling people they are Jewish.

What's even more surprising is that Alya Michelson goes to a church in Santa Monica, Palisades area. Gary or Alya announced the birth of their kids in the church newsletter. With Jewish people the religion of the mother determines the religion of the child. Gary obviously does not care that his kids are being raised Christians. I personally don't care about any religion at all. It's just odd that the Jewish Journal would pick up this story as it's not really about Judaism at all.

If you read the article you will see Gary Michelson and his made up story about his grandmother. It keeps changing so drastically every time. Gary gets more brazen with his stories as time goes by. I guess he feels confident that people have been sucking up his stories. He always plays the poor little boy that no one love. In this version of the story his parents were always at war. In the last version his mother ignored him. Kids at school beat him up. His only friend was his dog. That's the only part of the story that I believe.

In the original telling of the grandma on fire story she merely puts her hand on a hot stove. Over time she puts her hand over the flames. Grandma just burns her hand one time. Another time Grandma is on fire and Gary has to put her out. Even if his grandma couldn't feel heat in her hands, why would she put her hands on a hot stove or in the flames? Was she also blind and senile? This story is as ridiculous as the story that Gary has one less patent than Ben Franklin. Ben Franklin has no patents as he didn't believe in patents. He said we should share the inventions to help society. That's obviously not how Gary feels about things.

Gary Michelson wasting tons of money to remove things he himself posted and shared on the Internet

Looks like the sheriff has been suckering Gary Michelson into giving him more money to try to remove things. Two blogs posts were hidden from the uk version of this blog. They are still here in this website. No one in the UK even knows who Gary Michelson is. They also don't look at the uk version of this blog.

The blog posts were about Gary's 95 lb pure bred pitbull which he bought. Everything in that post came from public books and newspapers.

The other was about Alya Michelson hating Gary Michelson. In that post I quoted from a public media document where Gary announces the birth of his kid posting her full name. That is "private" information? Then why did he announce it to the world? Alya's posted pics of her kids online. Her daughter is incredibly cute and fortunately look like Alya. In odd coincidence Gary's kid looks exactly like the clone of Neil Campbell's kid. Maybe that is why Gary bought a light skinned blonde wife. He wanted a kid just like Neil's kid.

I just realized that Gary named his kid after his dead dog Grace. At least "Grace" is a pretty name. Here is the newsletter where Gary Michelson released the news of his new kid. Go sue them, Gary! Make them remove what they wrote from a religious newsletter. Page five from the below link,

This is St Matthews Church in the Palisades. Gary Michelson is of course Jewish. His wife is not. She is Episcopal. Lucky for her he allows her to go to church. Otherwise she's trapped in the castle forced to buy trinkets from Tiffany's online while she sleeps with the dog whom she calls her husband. When I say sleep I mean just sleep like my cats sleep on my bed kinda sleep.

Gary Karlin Michelson is supposedly married to Alevtina Shchepetina from Russia. They supposedly have two kids named Sasha and Isaiah. The wife named the children after her family. Gary did not care what their names are. He probably makes them either live in a different house or on the opposite side of the house. All I know is Alevtina sleeps with the dog which she jokingly calls her "husband."

Dr. Gary Michelson's family tree. I believe this information is correct. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. There could be a few mistakes in here. He comes from a broken home. Divorce of Russian Jews on the East Coast was unheard of at this time. It was a true embarrassment and shame upon the family. This is the pedigree view.

Dr. Gary Michelson's parents were Ellin G. Karlin and Norman Michelson. His brothers are psychologist Dr. Larry K. Michelson, Mark and cardiologist Dr. Eric Lee Michelson. Gary married Amyanne Burch and had no children. He supposedly married Alya and had one kid, is about to have another. Gary's father left his mother and she remarried to Dr. Aaron Spector a psychologist. He had two daughters named Carol and Wendy by his previous wife who left him. Aaron Spector died in 1971 and Ellin married Bernhard Blumenthal in 1974. Bernhard was the President of Blumenthal Brothers Chocolate. They make Goobers and Raisinetes. Finally, Gary has a true claim to fame. He can tell people he is the stepson of the guy who made Raisinetes. Mr. Blumenthal died and his wife Ellin, Gary and his three brothers sued the estate for money. This was in 2002. They only sued for a few hundred thousand dollars. Wasn't he making a bajillion dollars by this time? Bernhard's two children Leo D. Blumenthal and Anne B. Proffit sued the estate.

UPDATE: 100913 - I don't think Gary is the youngest of four brothers as he tells everyone. He tries to use that as the reason why he didn't get any attention from his parents. When his mother and brothers sued the estate they sued as "Eric, Gary, Mark and Larry." That's not alphabetical order. It's chronological order by birth date. The birth dates I find for them are 1947, 1949, 1951 and 1952 respectively. Psychologist Dr. Larry K Michelson is indeed his brother as he dedicated one of his many books "to my loving and much loved grandparents, Esther and Joseph Karlin." He is a psychologist, professor and writer. He writes about treating mentally ill people including children. Perhaps Gary is the reason he went into this field. He was born November 6, 1952. They all have children, even grand children. Gary and his brother Eric both graduated from high school at the same time even though they are 16 months apart. Gary's brother Eric was an honor student, athletic, social and better looking than Gary, see below pic. They had different addresses for some reason. I assume Gary was with his granny and Eric went with the mom. Maybe they are half siblings like me and my sis. We were about the same age difference and for a short time were in the same grade.

Gary's maternal grandmother is Esther Spacktor who was married to Joseph Abraham Karlin aka Kalinski, Kalinsky. Joseph Karlin was an accountant then owned a button and trimming store called Joseph Karlin Company Fabrics. It was still open until 2010. Joseph and Esther also had a son named Lawrence and another named Arthur who became a well known doctor Dr. Arthur Karlin in New York. All of his grandparents were Jewish, spoke Yiddish and English, and were born in Russia or Poland. His parents were born in the US.

I just realized that none of Gary Michelson's relatives acknowledge him in any way not even on Facebook. I'm sure it's because they don't want to have anything to do with him. If I knew then what I know now about Gary, I never would have had anything to do with him either.

In interviews and in a book Gary Michelson says horrible things about his mom and dad. Mom supposedly didn't give him any attention. She supposedly didn't like taking care of her sons. Dad called him stupid all the time. As I look at his mom she seems like a sweet kind lady who loves kids and family. I bet Gary is making up part of his "miserable" childhood. And if not, he's a senior citizen. Time to get over it. His mom is friends with his brother Eric, his daughters and grandson.

UPDATE: I just realized that Gary's mom was 18 years old when she married Norman. They had a baby in 1947 when she was 19 years old. Then she had Gary in 1949 at age 21. From her high school year book at age 18.

She went to Germantown High school. A note in her yearbook states "Ellin Karlin leaves her hilarious family troubles to any willing sympathizers."
