It was a joint stipulation. I think it's because USA doesn't have the final opinion from Costa Rica. They submitted an unofficial copy. Maybe the Costa Rican official is holding out for more bribe money from Gary Michelson?

USC building named after Gary Michelson grand opening. USC sells publicity and naming rights to anyone with money

The USC Michelson Hall building had its grand opening last Wednesday. Gary Michelson bought the naming rights of a USC building for $50,000,000. I'm sure there is a very long and detailed contract about the specific terms. I believe Gary demanded lots and lots of positive press, that silly cake, breaking ground photos, so many mentions in the USC websites, newsletters, the honorary degree.... It's just a business deal yet he can write it off as a donation. And to think Gary used to say art museums are just an illegal tax write off.

USC has a horrible recent history of being willing to work with horrible, unethical, unprofessional people if they can raise money or give them a lot of money. USC recently had to fire two Deans, Carmen Puliafito and then his replacement Rohit Varma for very improper behavior.

I'm sure USC has a clause in their building naming contract that if Michelson does anything that could embarrass USC they can remove his name. Does USC know how corrupt, unethical and just plain evil Gary Michelson is? I would think filing false criminal reports against people would be grounds enough. There was also that defamation lawsuit, Gary admitting he personally thanked ex DA Steve Cooley for arresting his ex-boyfriend, Gary committing perjury by stating there was a written contract when there wasn't, being caught committing tax fraud and heavily fined in the millions.... They soon will know all about it.

There have been quite a few articles about Gary Michelson no longer being on the Forbes 400 list. This list is very important for Gary's fragile little ego. He gave his "financial" info to Forbes. He told his close advisor he must stay on the list then was still booted off anyway.

This has caused Gary to go into pr over drive. He reposts any positive article many times. He pays people to write glowing articles about him. Now he's taking to posting images of the articles as well as the articles.

Notice the baloney in the photo above. I doubt Gary had anything to do with it.

What he enjoys most "Making the world a better place. Doing good in the world." Let's see filing false criminal complaints against innocent people does not make the world a better place.

"Toughest challenge." "A dysfunctional and violent childhood." Funny none of his brothers had a similar experience. His mother seems like a real nice person.

"Best advice." "If you are not a businessman - don't." He should have taken his own advice. In fact he has people running his businesses and he still gets ripped off. He took some bad tax advice and was fined I think $20 million by the IRS. He sued and lost, appealed and lost again.

"Bucket list." "Take my wife out for dinner." Someone doesn't know what a bucket list is. A bucket list is a list of things you want to do once before you die. This means he's never gone out to dinner with his Russian mail order bride. He makes her hide at home.

Here are some pics from the Found Animals gala. Cory Booker is a good guy. I suggest he not get too cozy with Gary based on what Gary did to other men he liked. At first I thought this was Aimee Gilbreath in the photo. It's actually Alya.

And another thing I found some newspaper ads by Gary Michelson. He was a sports medicine doctor. Sports medicine doctors generally work on knees, shoulders, elbows and not backs. Gary tells people he was a back surgeon. Per his medical license he was not board certified. He didn't state areas of practice. He has nothing to do with patient care, research or teaching. I was told that Gary wasn't good at sports. I know he wasn't involved in any in high school. He wasn't even a member of any club or group unlike his brothers who played a few sports, musical instruments, were in clubs, groups.... Gary seemed to be the only kid in his high school who wasn't involved in any sport, club or group. I was told that is why Gary gravitated to sports medicine. He wanted to meet athletes and sports figures. I was also told that he had major social issues which is why he is not a people person. At the last party he threw for his adoptandshop he basically stood by himself the entire night.

Hands don't go inside incisions. This is back surgery. Everyone uses tools. His main invention is not a tool for people with big hands. It's an invention he stole from a horse veterinarian. Gary just ran to the patent office first with a horse vet's idea. It was a threaded spinal cage the same cage he and Medtronic have been sued over.

Gary Michelson told the same story to the NY Times

"Dr. Michelson, who is 56, said he began inventing because he had unusually large hands. Some of his spinal surgery patients were scared because large incisions would be needed to accommodate his hands."

I was just going to check out Gary Michelson's Wikipedia page. I used to update it for him before I realized he was a fraud. Looks like "Daniel Bernstein" is still updating it with fake references. Daniel has also made some more Gary Michelson pages.

Opinion will be delayed as Justice Richard Mosk is ill, sick. May be reargued in front of new Justice

Vacate submit date.

The submission in this case is vacated due to the unavailability of Associate Justice Richard M. Mosk due to illness. The cause is placed on calendar for oral argument, if desired by the parties, on March 1, 2016, at 9:00 a.m.

Submission vacated at the very last second. The exhibits will be returned to lower court June 2016. Previously the opinion was due at the latest February 1, 2016. Why is this happening at the very last second? Sounds suspect to me. Perhaps Mosk wanted to reverse and others disagreed because of pressure from Gary Michelson's friends whom he paid a lot of money to get the verdict he wanted to ex-DA Steve Cooley and current DA. Gary Michelson admitted he had lunch with the DA's office to thank them for going after Gary's ex-friend and business person. Maybe all the judges came to agreement that Mosk would call in sick so they could find another judge willing to do what Gary wants and paid ex-DA and current DA to do? This happened to me. It appears that Justice Richard Mosk may want a political or other office after his term is up in 2018. Ruling properly or improperly could affect his political connections. Sounds like the lower court all over again. That also sounds like the corruption that happened in my case in Texas. The sitting judge didn't want to hear the hearing or trial because, if she ruled according to law and evidence, I would have won. That would have made her friends upset. If she ruled for her friends, it would have destroyed her reputation and record.

Richard Mosk is the son of Stanley Mosk after whom the main courthouse is named. His dad was also Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of California. Oddly enough Richard's son Matthew Mosk is an investigative reporter.

More time to wait. I really hope this one Justice didn't call in "sick" like mine did so they could do a switcheroo. If they substitute in a retired, retiring judge, bad news. Retiring, retired judges can do whatever the they want and not have to worry about re-election or re-appointment. I know first hand how corrupt these cases can be. Time for info act requests.

Request for letter response from Appellate Court Judges - Gary Michelson case

I don't know why I didn't receive notification of this as I'm signed up to this case. Fortunately I happened to check the docket manually.

I think the Appeals Court wants to give Appellees i.e. DA, absolutely every chance to prove that there was theft. If I remember, the deeds the DA wanted to submit to the court were all in Spanish. The Judge refused them as they had not been transcribed into English by an independent translator. There was no other proof of what Defendants paid for the land. The DA only had proof of what Gary Michelson paid Defendants for the land.

Another thing to consider is let's say Defendants paid $100 for the land. They still had to pay to clear title, clear squatters, escrow, title, remove liens.... After the land met all of Gary Michelson's requirements then Gary would buy it. If they paid $100 for the land then spent $100 to clear it, Defendants would have been in the land $200. If Gary Michelson paid $200 for it, there would be no net gain to defendants.

Even if Defendants paid $100 for the land, invested another $100 to clear it over the course of a year, then they sold it for $1,000, that still would not be theft. They used their own money to buy the land and clear it. The most important thing would be what the land was worth. If Gary paid $1,000 for a piece of land worth $1,000, he lost no money. In this case Gary made a huge profit on the land. I would gladly pay $200 for a piece of land worth $1,000 any day of the week.

As the request is due 12/18, I will assume there will be no opinion until after the new year with holiday recess.

Oral argument summary - Dr Gary Michelson criminal case, Ex-Forbes billionaire, Spine, patent

Appellant spoke first. Jonathan Michaels spoke for a couple of minutes. The Justices interrupted and asked a few questions. Then the Justices asked the Attorney General representative to speak. The Justices asked him what type of case was this. The AG stated it was "larceny by trick." AG said that defendants marked up price of land by 40% to 50%. Justice asked AG how much defendants "stole." AG said paraphrased "count 3 was for a $759,000 purchase." Again Justices asked him how much defendants "stole." Justice rephrased the question "Do you have any proof what the defendants paid for the land?" AG said "no." AG then said paraphrased "Powers was only supposed to take a 6% commission." Of course we all know there was no such oral or written agreement. Justice then asked, said "you have no document, no physical evidence of what was stolen." AG admitted that Gary gave an agreed upon amount of money i.e. $759,000 and received the agreed upon land. I believe the Justices wanted the AG to admit that the state had no proof of anything being stolen as they had no evidence of what defendants paid for the properties. If you don't know what they paid for the property, you can't prove if they made a profit or had a loss.

The Justices did not bring up the fact that the one standing claim should be a misdemeanor which should then be dismissed under the new proposition as both defendants did not have a record.

As per the Appeals case file the exhibits were returned to the county clerk four days before oral argument. That means Justices already read the briefs and saw the evidence. It appears their minds were 99% made up before oral argument which is normal. The actual opinion is due at the latest February 1, 2016. Below is the case file, docket.

Based on the evidence and law that I've seen the defendants are of course innocent. We can only pray that the court will be fair. This case should have been dismissed in the lower courts. I think the superior court judge just didn't want to do that because of pressure from the DA's office because Gary Michelson gave Cooley money. Gary Michelson also took Cooley and his office out to lunch to "thank them for their work on this case" per Gary Michelson in court.

Dory Andraos went to Cal State Northridge which does not have a good accreditation or history. He also went to Pacific States University which he misspells in his linkedin page as "Pacific State University." This is a private school accredited by ACICS. Real universities such as USC, UCLA are accredited by organizations such as the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. That is a "true" accreditation. Pacific States University is an Internet school with some classes in Korea Town. It's basically run out of an office on Wilshire Blvd.

Dory here worked for evil VCA. VCA is a public company that bought a lot of small veterinary offices. They declaw cats, debark dogs, dock tails, cut ears. They are known as the McDonalds of veterinary hospitals. If you go in to neuter your cat, they will tell you, you should declaw it at the same time to save money on the anesthesia. It's like asking someone if they want fries with with their burger order. They even try to sell you a four paw declaw. I think they were one of the groups that fought us when we banned declaw in LA and other cities in the US. We even got death threats from vets and vet organizations.

Dory Antoun Andraos (December 15, 1973) and his wife Laura Sonia Hecht Flores Andraos (September 1959, September 1962 when she lies about her age) who works with the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission bought a shitty, tiny, cheap one bedroom, one bath 812 sf home on a 4,000 sf lot in a bad area of Whittier in 2004 for $290,000 with a $232,000 loan. Actually the wife bought it. That means Dory had no money and shitty credit. Then they got an equity line and stopped making payments on the home in 2012. They owed nine months of mortgage payments. They lost the home in foreclosure. The home sold in 2013 for $260,000, less than what they paid for it. That means they way over paid in 2005 and probably trashed the home. The MLS photo is only a pic of the outside. That generally means the inside is totally trashed. Evil pissed owners trash their house before they move out when they are foreclosed upon. It's actually a crime but banks know they'll never get any money suing them.

Their monthly mortgage payment was about $978. They couldn't pay $978 a month? Obviously a couple of total losers who can't pay $978 a month. Your mortgage payment can't be over about 30% of your monthly income. That means these two working people's income is $3,260 or $1,600 each. I wonder how much Gary is paying this guy. We know VCA pays people shit. If Gary Michelson is paying this guy more than $2,000 a month, he's overpaying...again. What type of person runs out on a mortgage like this? They obviously both now have shitty credit.

He supposedly wrote this as per his LinkedIn. He is from Lebanon. It doesn't appear that English was his first language. His LinkedIn account says he only speaks English. If English is his first and only language, this is even worse. This is riddled with mistakes and he's supposed to be doing marketing? The grammar is atrocious! Unless "something really bad happened?" Those are the words of a seven year old. He ends a sentence with a preposition. He put the wrong quotation marks in the wrong place. He doesn't understand the difference between singular and plural. He uses little kid language. "Something really bad" would not be a highly contagious disease. URI, kennel cough are highly contagious but they rarely kill an animal. "Something really bad" would be "something" that causes the most harm like Parvovirus, Distemper and Feline panleukopenia.

Gary Michelson has not "enabled millions of people to live healthier, more productive lives." The threaded spinal cage was invented by someone else. Gary just ran to the patent office first so he could make money. Gary basically filed a patent to print money. Not only that but his cage with Infuse has now crippled and killed people.

On top of all of this Gary's donation to Sabin has not caused them to create a new vaccine or treatment for ground worms. That was the purpose of his grant. Gary's donation to his stupid prize has also failed. He hasn't made a new drug to cause permanent sterilization in animals. He also hasn't given/spent the $100 million. He put $108 million in one of his foundations but only spent $5 million. I still personally believe he's using the foundations for tax evasion. He was already busted for tax evasion by the IRS and was fined $20 million. What's ironic is that Gary says art museums are just tax evasion. He's doing the same thing.

Egotistical Dr Gary Michelson names everything after himself and pays for the privilege with transactional philanthropy

Good article in the Times below about egotistical individuals who buy naming rights of buildings. It's called "transactional philanthropy or charity by lawyers." I think it's just paid advertising, marketing, public relations. Gary Michelson donated the money to get the press to try to salvage his horrible reputation.

The article states that there are very few true philanthropists today. They're mainly egotistical insecure people who demand their name on everything, such as Dr Gary Michelson. Gary tells his silly story at the ground breaking on video stating that USC called him up and wanted to honor him by naming a building after him. No, they just wanted his money.

I have a feeling that the people who actually have to mention the name of the building will probably give it a nickname like "the crazy gary center," "the bldg that evil and greed built."

Some fundraising insiders think Geffen got a bargain paying only $100 million for a $500-million project.

Transactional philanthropy contracts often spell out the terms of a gift with great specificity. There is certainly a minimum length of the naming obligation; perpetuity is usually off the table. There are default provisions as well, such as: What if the donor goes bankrupt or to the clink before the gift is completed? And, of course, details on branding. I don't know who came up with calling the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts "the Wallis," but I doubt it sprang up spontaneously from its Beverly Hills patrons.

Branding, which is at the heart of philanthropic naming, can be tricky. Will the full name David Geffen Hall stick? New Yorkers notoriously shorten even nicknames (A-Rod, MOMA, the Met). It could become the Geff.

But if our billionaire becomes displeased with his Lincoln Center agreement, there is another juicy opportunity awaiting him in his adopted home town. "Mr. Geffen, the Los Angeles Music Center is on the line. They want to give you an honorary baton."

The web dude Dr Gary Michelson hired to try to get photos and blogs removed has failed yet again. Not only did he fail but he committed crimes while doing so. He committed perjury and fraud. Gary Michelson duped again by someone who is ripping him off. How much did Gary Michelson pay the web dude to send 200+ emails to different blog hosts? This web dude lied and said he had a contract with Gary and Alya to protect his copyrighted photos. He never produced it. Web dude lied and said Gary and Alya owned the photos in question. No, they didn't. Almost all were taken by others and owned by others. Not only that but I can post photos, bits of video for comment under the fair use act of copyright. The blog hosts have sent me emails stating they aren't removing any photos because they are used under the fair use of copyright.

Only one photo from one host was deleted and it was a mistake. It's not a photo of Gary or anything Gary owns. It's a photo I took of a Chrysler Prowler in front of a friend's garage. It's not even Gary's photo or car! His ex-wife owned a Prowler, not Gary. Gary had never even seen the Prowler in the photo. I don't even know what color Gary's Prowler was. Gary pays people to commit perjury and crimes. It is a crime to file a false copyright claim. The photo in question will return within ten days. The photo is above. It was not removed from this blog but another.

Based on this transcript it's pretty clear charge should have been reduced to misdemeanor and then dismissed. Judge Craig Richman could have done that at his discretion but he chose not to. He chose not to because he didn't want to rock the boat. Now the ball is in the court of appeals. He can wash his hands of it now. It doesn't affect him at all if the sentence is reversed.

11 AGAINST THE DEFENDANTS FOR GRAND THEFT BUT THEY WERE

12 NOT INSTRUCTED ON AN AMOUNT AND DID NOT MAKE IT A

13 FINDING OF THE AMOUNT. IN THE COURT OF APPEAL IN

14 PEOPLE VERSUS LOVE HELD, "THE COURT GAVE NO

15 INSTRUCTION TO ASSESS A VALUE" AND CONTINUANCES ON, IT

16 SAYS, THE FELONY CONVICTIONS MUST BE REDUCED TO

17 MISDEMEANORS AND THE DEFENDANT MUST BE RESENTENCED.

18 SO WHILE WE CAN CERTAINLY VISIT WITH THIS

19 ISSUE WITH THE COURT OF APPEAL, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT

20 PROPOSITION 47 IN THE DISCUSSION WE HAD AND THE

21 CONFUSION -- I ADMIT IT'S A CONFUSING ISSUE AS IT

22 RELATES TO PROPOSITION 47 -- IS NOT CONTROLLING IN OUR

23 SITUATION.

24 HERE WE HAVE A FINDING BY THE JURY THAT

25 THERE WAS A CONVICTION FOR CRIME, BUT THERE WAS NO

26 FINDING AS TO THE AMOUNT.
