Gary Michelson once thought he was ripped off for paying apx $35 for a nice custom cake. He kept going on and on about how the ingredients probably didn't cost more than a few dollars. Gary worked himself up to the point he thought he'd been ripped off, cheated. This is how some people become very wealthy. It's a very unhealthy obsession. Gary Michelson now has fewer real friends than he had before. His only real friends, and that's a big maybe, are a couple of his dogs. He burned all his previous real human friends by destroying them, trying to destroy them when they left him.

This is what an intelligent, caring, philanthropic person does with their inventions - not Dr Gary Michelson, Forbes, billionaire
Easton LaChappelle saw a girl with a prosthetic limb. If could only open and close yet cost $60,000. He wanted to do something to help everyone who needed limbs. He developed, invented, built his own prosthetic hand which is controlled by your brain. Did he sell his idea? Sit on it? Nope, he gave away the source code, invention to the world for free. Now anyone can build a prosthetic limb for $350 instead of having to buy an inferior one for $60,000. This is what real inventors do. They don't patent it and sell it to the highest bidder. Dr Gary Michelson's patents have caused the cost of back surgery to sky rocket. His patent, the only one that was worth any money, he stole from two other doctors then patented it. He hadn't even built one yet when the other doctors had built them and used them in surgery. This kid is 19 years old. He will have a happy, rewarding, successful life with true friends and colleagues. He won't even up like evil, crazy Gary Michelson with no real friends or family.

Gary Michelson names yet another award after himself, Forbes billionaire, Alya Michelson
Gary Michelson who NEVER names anything after himself has now named the 1,234th prize/building/grant/patent after himself. He's now adding Alya's name to everything because of this blog. If you search her name, you will see the truth about Gary Michelson here. Gary Michelson does not want people to know the truth about him.
"It is with this in mind that Dr. Michelson recently sponsored a category of student prizes that will be awarded at the forthcoming Los Angeles County Science Fair. The award, which he hopes will encourage students in the study of STEM, is to be called the “Gary and Alya Michelson Invention Prize” and will be presented to the top three students with projects most likely to lead to a patentable technology."
The "this" that is in mind is the fact that only 20% of computer scientists are women.
Just searched this and it turns out the paragraph above was part of a fake article. I have no idea why someone would want to write a fake article. The real article has this quote. It has nothing to do with women but with students with research projects which are most likely to lead to a patentable technology. Notice, Gary only cares about patents. He doesn't care about great inventions or helping people.

From the LA Times interview. Again Gary Michelson wants everyone to acknowledge how much money he has and how much he gives away. Out of the other side of his mouth he wants to appear down to earth with no ego. The Times reporter must know that Forbes get the money data from the people on the list. They don't do any research or verify anything. They just call the person up and they tell them. Gary tells Forbes how much money he has. I wouldn't be surprised if Gary called Forbes and not vice versa. Gary Michelson is extremely insecure deep inside which is why he tries to project this huge image of being a genius inventor philanthropist with big "lobster claw" hands.
"He was listed at No. 290 in 2010, with a net worth estimated at $1.4 billion. He won't confirm the figures or say precisely how much he gives away. "It's unseemly," he said, urging a reporter to focus on his foundations rather than on him."

Many class action medical malpractice spine product lawsuits filed against Dr Gary Michelson
There are now a ton of class action lawsuits against Dr. Gary Michelson for malpractice and design flaw in his Medtronic spinal cage. Talk about karma. You steal someone else's invention, run and patent it, make the money then get sued for design flaw. Not only that but Gary made everyone put labels on all his products that said "Michelson technology in action." On top of this Gary sued anyone that used his product with another product. In some cases they inserted his cage then inserted bone growing tissue into the cage instead of a bone graft. Michelson demanded part of that money. That of course makes him liable.
I don't feel bad for Gary but I do I feel really bad for these patients. They all have the same back problem as me in the exact same location. Thank god I swore I'd never use one of Gary Michelson's products or this could have been me.
In the last nine months many class action lawsuits have been filed in Los Angeles County alone for malpractice against Gary Michelson and Medtronic. They are being transferred to Federal court in LA due to diversity of parties. Here is but one. This is only the basic lawsuit. The rest is 287 pages available on Pacer.

If you read the lawsuit you'll see it mentions Medtronic doctor/advisors who push Medtronic products on patients. Few days ago I posted about the UCLA whistle blower who got $10M because he said doctors were pushing Medtronic products on back surgery patients after being compensated by Medtronic. UCLA claimed no patient was harmed by this but that doesn't seem to be true now. Why else would they settle right before trial. They knew they would lose which makes them instantly liable in these new class action lawsuits. The whistle blower Dr. Robert Pedowitz was represented by lawyers Mark Quigley, Ivan Puchalt, and Christian Nickerson with the Santa Monica, CA law firm of Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP. The above lawsuit is just one of seven I see filed recently in LA alone. Each lawsuit has many, many plaintiffs.
It appears that Medtronic was paying doctors to recommend their products to their patients. Some of these products were used off label and were known to have many risks and side effects. The doctors did not disclose this to their patients. The patients used the products and now their backs are in worse shape. This is the world Gary Michelson chose to live. This is the result of Gary Michelson's patent trolling, invention stealing and lawsuits. This is where Gary Michelson gets his money, from lying to and screwing over people with injured backs. I don't think this is what Gary's grandmother had in mind when she supposedly said "one day you will fix this (her bad back) for me." His granny must be spinning in her grave. Of course Gary is probably just lying again. In his high school year book he said he wanted to be a lawyer. Well, he is involved in law, just as a serial litigant.

I don't feel bad for Gary but I do I feel really bad for these patients. They all have the same back problem as me in the exact same location. Thank god I swore I'd never use one of Gary Michelson's products or this could have been me.
In the last nine months many class action lawsuits have been filed in Los Angeles County alone for malpractice against Gary Michelson and Medtronic. They are being transferred to Federal court in LA due to diversity of parties. Here is but one. This is only the basic lawsuit. The rest is 287 pages available on Pacer.

If you read the lawsuit you'll see it mentions Medtronic doctor/advisors who push Medtronic products on patients. Few days ago I posted about the UCLA whistle blower who got $10M because he said doctors were pushing Medtronic products on back surgery patients after being compensated by Medtronic. UCLA claimed no patient was harmed by this but that doesn't seem to be true now. Why else would they settle right before trial. They knew they would lose which makes them instantly liable in these new class action lawsuits. The whistle blower Dr. Robert Pedowitz was represented by lawyers Mark Quigley, Ivan Puchalt, and Christian Nickerson with the Santa Monica, CA law firm of Greene Broillet & Wheeler, LLP. The above lawsuit is just one of seven I see filed recently in LA alone. Each lawsuit has many, many plaintiffs.
It appears that Medtronic was paying doctors to recommend their products to their patients. Some of these products were used off label and were known to have many risks and side effects. The doctors did not disclose this to their patients. The patients used the products and now their backs are in worse shape. This is the world Gary Michelson chose to live. This is the result of Gary Michelson's patent trolling, invention stealing and lawsuits. This is where Gary Michelson gets his money, from lying to and screwing over people with injured backs. I don't think this is what Gary's grandmother had in mind when she supposedly said "one day you will fix this (her bad back) for me." His granny must be spinning in her grave. Of course Gary is probably just lying again. In his high school year book he said he wanted to be a lawyer. Well, he is involved in law, just as a serial litigant.
