Gary Michelson hired Konnect Public Relations to try to help his horrible image. They are writing press releases for him and releasing them on PRWeb. What's really funny is that they are attaching their website and not the website of the client to the news release. Gary Michelson is basically paying them to promote themselves. I've never seen a PR firm do that before. I use PRWeb.

The adopt and shop opened a week or so ago. This is obviously news for news sake. Here are more press releases from this PR firm. Notice they attach the web page of their company and not the client. Gary is paying to promote the PR company. Also notice the many, many errors in the press releases. Do they have a seven year old in India writing these things? Aimee could do a much better job than this PR firm.

Dr Gary Michelson's current PR push to improve (?) his image is failing, 20 million minds.
Gary Michelson of 20 million minds is paying for PR. Gary Michelson is paying people to make videos about him. Gary Michelson is paying people to write articles praising him. I believe he is trying to improve his horrible image and track record. Whoever is running his PR is doing a shitty job. They don't bother to check facts which makes Gary appear even more delusional.
I am posting two photos of Gary Michelson from his paid PR photo shoot and article and video he made about 20 million minds. Video is on youtube. Photo is on the internet in a PR website. They are for comment and educational purposes made by me a non-profit educator.
The first one came from the article which had paid to have written about him to boost his image. He wanted to portray himself as a savvy business person. He's in his living room wearing a nice suit, had a fresh haircut and is clean shaven. One quick note, when I met him in 2006 he only had furniture in his bedroom and family room. It was plain regular furniture, no art, expensive objects anywhere. He used to wear jeans and a tshirt or an ugly old brown suit from the 1970's. He said he liked to live meagerly. Cut to 2014. Based on the pics he spent a lot of money buying gaudy crap for his house like the chess set on the wall and that gaudy statue thing. He used to say he was against displays of wealth. He has obviously changed.
In this second photo he's in the living room but he's wearing jeans, regular shirt, shaved his head day or so ago, has the beginning of a goatee. He wants to portray himself as a down to earth guy regular Joe who just wants to help people. Notice the gaudy crap is not as obvious. This is all intentional.
Supposedly 20 Million Minds is working with the Bill Gates Foundation. I'll have to check that out. If Bill Gates knew anything about Dr. Gary Michelson he would never want to have anything to do with him. When the false criminal lawsuit that Gary Michelson filed against his ex-lover Neil Campbell and Neil's business friend Philip hits the media, Gary is going to look ridiculous. Everyone except brown nosers will be distancing themselves from him. Again, Gary Michelson filed a criminal complaint against two people stating they basically "stole" millions from him. One, they did not steal anything as far as I can tell. Two, after Gary thought he overpaid for land the people offered to buy back the land for more than what Gary paid for it. Gary refused. Gary actually made a TON of money from these two people. They did not defraud him, steal from him. He didn't lose a penny. They made him money.

Dr.Gary Michelson has PR person talk about his mythical "lobster claw" hands
Dr Gary Michelson is very concerned with his public image. He will pay people to give him positive press. Here is an "interview" he did with a "writer." It's obviously paid PR.
This article was written about Dr Gary Michelson. "A beautiful mind," really? That could not be farther from the truth. Just another kiss ass article to stroke Gary's ego.

Who is Yoji P. Cole who wrote the article? He does public relations, marketing, social media and admits he is a "story teller." He also admits he's a ghost writer, writes op-eds, speeches for a PR firm.

He's also an actor and a model. Very handsome! He brags he was a fact checker for LA Weekly, writes for Patch. He should take that off his resume immediately. It's like saying he restocked shelves at Walmart.

The CSQ website looks like PR, marketing, advertising. Here the paid PR person retells a Gary Michelson "fable." I really doubt this ever happened just like the fictional granny on fire story. He's just saying it because Wilt died in 1999 and his granny died in 1989. Wilt would not have wanted to have anything to do with Gary unless Gary was a female. Plus, 1999 Gary was still a total nobody. Gary Michelson didn't become known until his 2005 win for $1.3B. I met Wilt quite a few times. He would not have given Gary the time of day let alone palmed a bowling ball with him.
"His “lobster claws” as Michelson calls them are somewhat of a legend in local circles. Decades ago, while playing beach volleyball in Santa Monica, former Lakers Center Wilt Chamberlain, a regular beach volleyball player, was bragging that his hands were so big he could palm his 16-pound bowling ball. Michelson stepped up to challenge the seven-footer, winning a bet after he showed the NBA Hall-of-Famer that he, too, could palm the bowling ball. Michelson’s intellect, storytelling, and philanthropy make him a cross between Siri, Gene Roddenberry, and Robin Hood."
The only thing the writer got right was the fact that Gary Michelson is a story teller. If you scroll down the page you see he also just copy/pastes the fake PR crap. The writer did not verify any of this. A quick look at the 990's for these organizations and you can clearly see they did not do these things, did not donate this amount of money, did not save that many animals.... This is just more paid PR. I will give the writer credit for being a good writer and story teller. I see he threw the bit about his "wife" and kids in there. If that's what he wants to call it, fine. What's funny is that in private Gary is I'd say half way out of the closet.

They might have been in the same restaurant or party together but Wilt would not want to have anything to do with Gary let alone have a bowling ball palming contest <eye roll>. I've met both a few times. Wilt met me five times and he instantly said "give me your number, number!" as my date went to the bathroom in a restaurant and was only five feet from the table. I said "no" or ignored Wilt five times. Who would want to be with a guy who wants to have sex with, what, 10,000 women? Blech!
