Dr. Gary Michelson demands that people worship him, honor him, kiss his ass. This is one very sick insecure egotistical individual. As part of the settlement Medtronic had to place stickers on all products that have anything whatsoever to do with Gary Michelson's patents. Yes, Gary demanded stickers with his name on them.

"Medtronic agreed to pay Dr. Michelson $1.3 billion to settle the lawsuit that he won last fall and to purchase his patents. In order to secure his legacy among spine surgeons, hospital adminis- trators, patients, and plaintiff attorneys, Medtronic now places stickers on all the implants in which Dr. Michelson has patent ownership. These are designed similar to those of the produce industry which pioneered the use of the “P-Seals.” These are self-adhesive stickers that one finds at the supermarket attached to vegetables and fruits in the produce section. Medtronic Sofamor Danek now “proudly displays” the Michelson logo “Michelson technology at work” on the sides of boxes
which use any of Michelson’s patents. These include the threaded interbody devices such as the LT-Cage, Interfix, RP, and Affinity cages, cervical plating systems, and other miscellaneous
products and instruments. One can get further information on Michelson’s capabilities from Medtronic’s web site by clicking on the Michelson logo. Among the information that one learns is that Michelson has proven to be the “most prolific inventor in spine surgery” and his motivation for invention was “the plight of his maternal grandmother—a tennis champion in her youth, later crippled by neurogenic spinal degeneration.”

Gary Michelson also forced all those companies to have a page dedicated to worship Gary in all their websites. The statements are all identical. They state "most prolific inventor in spine surgery." His motivation was supposedly his granny. <eye roll> That would be like me forcing the city of LA to have a page honoring me which states "Mary Cummins is the prettiest, smartest size zero woman in the world! She also invented the internet," in exchange for settling my lawsuit against them.

I would like to note that the pro-Gary Michelson video was made by Robstan Visuals Production. They are owned by the company that makes this newsletter. They own orthosongs and Mendenhall Associates. Annie Gallup who made the song and video works for this newsletter. I have a feeling Gary Michelson probably paid them to make this music video honoring him. The video is just so incredibly different than the rest of their videos. Plus it presents him in a positive light. Gary also said coyly "I don't know who made that video but I'd like to hire them." <wink wink>
