I updated the timeline of events in this case in the below timeline link. There are two criminal cases, one in Costa Rica and one in California. The California one has three different dates. There is a civil case in California against both defendants which continues to this day with debtor hearings. Oddly enough my case was reassigned to the same court and Judge as Richard's case. Not a coincidence. There is also a case in Idaho against Neil. Gary keeps dragging him to hearing after hearing just to torture him. Gary Michelson enjoys being cruel to people. Beware ever doing business or being friends with Michelson. You will be stabbed in the back and then some.

Alya Michelson is now claiming to have a Masters degree in economics from Russia. Previously it was just a Masters in Fine Arts. She claims she is now only a philanthropist. She has recreated iconic photos as herself mainly a fake Rolling Stone cover as John and Yoko Ono, fake Beatles walking, fake American Pie...photos. She talks about it being tough being on the cover of Rolling Stone. She's never been on the cover. Does she think she is of the same quality as John and Yoko Ono? She calls these photos taken by others as "her" art. She may have paid the photographer but that doesn't make the photographs Alya's art. Glad to see she's not a Trumper at least. I wonder if Gary is. Maybe he thinks people who receive Medicaid are "cheating" him, "stealing" from him. He does love tax breaks. That's how he got in trouble with the IRS and had to pay a huge fine. He took a tax break which was not legal.

While I stupidly initially thought Gary was a very smart person who truly cared about animals and I wanted to fully support that I ultimately learned that Dr. Gary Michelson is a fraud besides mentally ill, cruel and unstable. I pity his wife and kids. If Alya had any smarts she'd contact a good lawyer, get divorced and get full control of her kids while Gary pays alimony, child support.

A new LinkedIn just popped up. Allegedly Alya Gold Michelson is now studying at USC. Alya stated she started in 2014 and will finish in 2021. Gary could just buy her an "honorary" degree. He probably will if he hasn't already.

Here is her original Russian Mail Order Bride profile on a Russian "model" network linked below. She doesn't show model photos or cite model stats. While I think she is pretty and has a fine figure at the time her weight would not have made her model material. Gary flat out told friends Alya was "arranged." He wanted someone interested in his same sports of water and snow skiing who would do what he said. He didn't care about the language they spoke just the look, light white preferable blonde with blue eyes. What's really odd is Gary chose a woman to carry his kids which looks exactly like Neil's wife. Gary's baby with Alya looks like a clone of Neil's baby. I almost think Gary bought Alya to have a kid that looks like Neil's kid. I've seen the pics which I won't post but they look like clones.

Gary was upset that he had to pay his previous wife millions to marry him and stay married for a certain amount of time. He offered money to his next fiance to marry him but she said no. A guy offers a woman millions and a multi-million dollar home to marry him and she said no. Shows you how horrible Gary can be to people. Then he sued her to get the ring back. I'm amazed he didn't force her to vomit up the dinners he bought her. Gary told people about these incidents himself. His arranged wife also had to be young enough to have children. He wanted children to take over his fortunes after he dies, period. He wanted them to take over his "legacy." Previously he said he didn't want a wife or kids as he didn't think he'd do a good job of it. Well, he's not doing the husband, father job. Alya takes care of the kids. Her main job currently is to help out at her kids' school.

This is a woman who wanted to go to LA to break into music, performing. Now she's too old to do that. She ended up just being a baby maker who must be polite and bland in public. That image is at great odds with her entertainer image and photos. I can only imagine what the prenuptial, postnuptial agreements must be like. I'm sure he made sure the children are his if she wants to leave. I wouldn't doubt that Gary holds her passport. He may not have even made her a citizen so he could threaten to deport her at any moment. While I feel a tiny bit bad for Alya, she signed up for this just like Melania. Notice first two Trump wives were smart, educated. Trump intentionally got a wife with no mind of her own who can't speak English well. Gary did the same with his first wife, ex-fiance and now Alya. She sits by Gary's side while he files false criminal charges against his ex friends whom he merely thinks ripped him off when they didn't. Actually he doesn't even think that. He knows he wasn't ripped off. He made millions. Gary just lies and says he was ripped off when he wasn't. She is supporting this behavior just like Ivanka Trump supports Donald Trump. Complicit.

Alya said this is from a secret show in February 2017. I think it's from a few years ago. That's when I first saw the photo from it. It's not a show but a video. More fake career. I think she bought her Twitter likes. The name "alyaunte" is no longer used meaning for alien. It looks like Gary just buys her expensive photo and video sessions so she can appear to be an "artist."

She says she's having private shows in a Beverly Hills mansion owned by a Russian art collection. Then she posts some very old video at the latest from 2012 five years ago from the group Japanica which was not her group.

Here are some reviews of Gary Michelson's companies which I just found. Sounds like things haven't changed since I worked there. FTR I did not make any of these reviews. Why would I when I've said almost everything here?

I agree with some of the comments. Gary Michelson is a shitty judge of character. He seems to hire and only keep people after his money. They state they are qualified when they aren't. Look at Dean Florez. He couldn't get a job anywhere else because of his illegal behavior. He suckered Gary into hiring him for big bucks.

The environment is toxic over there. Dean keeps Gary on a leash by badmouthing others to him. If someone doesn't do what they want, that person will badmouth the person to Gary. Gary believes anything you tell him. If you really want to control Gary, just tell him so and so is stealing money, taking advantage of him, saying he has small hands....

I bet there are other review sites with the same bad reviews. Gary Michelson is a shitty business person and poor judge of character. This is why he sometimes gets ripped off like with accounting firm. I bet they made a nice commission on those illegal tax havens which caused Gary to be guilty of tax evasion in the million and millions. Gary keeps getting ripped off because he has no real friends, no one he can trust. No one wants to be Gary's friend because he's not rational or sane. He turns on people in a nanosecond over nothing.

Wiki user Daniel Bernstein is updating Gary K. Michelson's Wikipedia page. It's a violation of terms of service of Wikipedia to update your own page or the page of a friend or employer.   Here is his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bostonyid/about He's also on LinkedIn. He's is supposedly a tax lawyer. According to the California Bar Association there is no "Daniel Bernstein" lawyer licensed to practice in California that matches this person. I will check NY and MA. I have a feeling this is a fake user name. Here is the pic he used. That looks like Hebrew to me like he's in Israel or something. This looks like a paparazzi pic. Odd for profile pic.

I just Google image searched it. This is a fake user name, fake person. It could be Gary Michelson or Alya Michelson. Alya Michelson has made a lot of websites, blogs and has been updating Gary's page. This is who is in the photo, Yvan Attal a French Israeli director actor. That is Hebrew in the background as he's in Israel. It is a pap pic. Not just a fraudster but a lazy one.

Gary Michelson hires people to fraudulently update his Wikipedia page. Gary did post an ad for an employee to do this exact job. If Gary Michelson didn't do illegal, unethical, unthinkably horrible things, he wouldn't have to hire people to make fake positive lies about him to cover up his own despicable behavior. Gary still has the worst judgment hiring the worst people who aren't even qualified. The guy posting his videos can't spell or type.

Oral argument summary - Dr Gary Michelson criminal case, Ex-Forbes billionaire, Spine, patent

Appellant spoke first. Jonathan Michaels spoke for a couple of minutes. The Justices interrupted and asked a few questions. Then the Justices asked the Attorney General representative to speak. The Justices asked him what type of case was this. The AG stated it was "larceny by trick." AG said that defendants marked up price of land by 40% to 50%. Justice asked AG how much defendants "stole." AG said paraphrased "count 3 was for a $759,000 purchase." Again Justices asked him how much defendants "stole." Justice rephrased the question "Do you have any proof what the defendants paid for the land?" AG said "no." AG then said paraphrased "Powers was only supposed to take a 6% commission." Of course we all know there was no such oral or written agreement. Justice then asked, said "you have no document, no physical evidence of what was stolen." AG admitted that Gary gave an agreed upon amount of money i.e. $759,000 and received the agreed upon land. I believe the Justices wanted the AG to admit that the state had no proof of anything being stolen as they had no evidence of what defendants paid for the properties. If you don't know what they paid for the property, you can't prove if they made a profit or had a loss.

The Justices did not bring up the fact that the one standing claim should be a misdemeanor which should then be dismissed under the new proposition as both defendants did not have a record.

As per the Appeals case file the exhibits were returned to the county clerk four days before oral argument. That means Justices already read the briefs and saw the evidence. It appears their minds were 99% made up before oral argument which is normal. The actual opinion is due at the latest February 1, 2016. Below is the case file, docket.

Based on the evidence and law that I've seen the defendants are of course innocent. We can only pray that the court will be fair. This case should have been dismissed in the lower courts. I think the superior court judge just didn't want to do that because of pressure from the DA's office because Gary Michelson gave Cooley money. Gary Michelson also took Cooley and his office out to lunch to "thank them for their work on this case" per Gary Michelson in court.

Gary Michelson's Found Animals off the mark again - Forbes billionaire

Dr Gary Michelson's Found Animals Foundation is doing another questionable media blitz. This one is a play on words of the movie "50 shades of Grey." "50 shades of Grey" is a movie about a man into SMBD, i.e. sado masochism bondage discipline. Viewers have stated it's a movie depicting, encouraging rape, rape culture, sexual abuse, psychological torture and assault. Many women's groups are speaking out about the movie released in time for Valentine's day. Reviewers are also giving it a crap review.

None of that bothers Gary Michelson's Found Animals Adopt and Shop. Someone, doubt they were in marketing, I would guess clueless Aimee Gilbreath, again suggested they do a spay and neuter event using a play on words of the movie. It's called "50 shades of spay." You want to encourage people to spay and neuter their dog? What better way than to use a play on words of a movie that depicts rape, violence, assault and abuse. Below is from their website. They will give you $2,500 if you use a very inappropriate play on words about rape and abuse. Yes, $2,500 if you humiliate your organization and encourage rape, assault and abuse of women.

Either their media person is drunk, on drugs, doesn't speak English, or Aimee Gilbreath again came up with a horrible idea for media attention. It reminds me a little of Ed Boks' "Hooters for Neuters" event that back fired because he used a pic of a sexy woman in a wet bikini. Even Grumpy cat says #50shadesofNO

The last failed media blitz "Six packs Nine lives" was a calendar of sexy(?) men holding cats. That idea was roasted, ridiculed by so many people. The execution of the calendar of men and cats giving WTH expressions trying to look, I think, sexy, was an utter failure. If Found Animals sold SMBD clothing, adult toys, naughty magazines, it might make sense to do a play on words media campaign based on the tile of this movie, i.e. #50shadesofsextoys #50shadesofbondagewear #50shadesofwhips Unfortunately this is a spay and neuter campaign for cats and dogs who are basically our furry children. Teaming up the image of rape, sexual abuse, sex toy assault with cute cats and dogs is ..... I don't know, not a well thought out idea that brings up images of illegal and disgusting bestiality. Sexual abuse and animals ... no! It would be like the Catholic church doing a media blitz for #50shadesofpray #50shadesofjesus . This is what happens when Gary Michelson intentionally hires someone with NO animal experience, only business school experience to run an animal rescue foundation because he thinks all animal people are "crazy." Obviously he's been looking in the mirror. Mistake after mistake from Gary Michelson.

Gary Michelson gets used by Dean Florez for his money - Forbes billionaire Los Angeles

I'm all for free and cheap textbooks. I provide all my manuals on wildlife rehabilitation for free online. Many other people have been doing this for many years. Below is an article about Gary Michelson giving his money from 20 Million Minds to OpenStax. OpenStax makes and shares free sourced textbooks. They existed long before 20 Million Minds.

My point is that Gary Michelson gives money to 20 Million Minds who then gives it to OpenStax. OpenStax has been accomplishing the same goals as 20 Million Minds for years. It would make more sense for Gary Michelson to give the money directly to OpenStax. Instead he gives it to Dean Florez to give it to OpenStax after siphoning off lots of money for his salary, salary of his friends which he hired, his expenses, probably also all of his family's personal expenses. Then he gives some of what's left over to OpenStax.

Dean Florez convinced Gary Michelson that there was a problem, i.e. "Education is broken. It needs to be deconstructed and fixed with Gary's money.  No one else has done this, is dong this." That is of course bullshit. The problem had already been tackled by other organizations. Dean Florez just "told" Gary that there was a problem that needed his money.

Dean Florez has a long history of being unethical, using campaign funds for his own expenses, living high on the hog and being extremely dishonest. In fact because of his last problems which I detailed here  he was not able to get another job as a politician or in government. The only person who would hire this thieving fraud was Gary Michelson.

Dean Florez is taking a salary of $300,000 per year. Here is their most recent tax return. Notice the loan from director to organization. Why didn't Gary just donate the money to his organization instead of loaning it? Is he charging interest? More tax fraud? If you need to search 20 Million Minds you must spell it like "Twenty Million Minds."

He paid $6,300 for a WordPress website which costs $75 for a template? $67,000 in legal fees? What for? $192,000 for consulting when he already has a staff consultant? Is this lobbying, Dean giving money to his friends?

More expensive legal and accounting fees. Gary is again loaning money to his own nonprofit. It has no due date and no interest. Then why? It's true you can only write off 50% of your gross income per year. Maybe that's the reason?

Gary is donating from one of his non-profits to the other. Why? David Cohen seems to be getting a salary from all of Gary's non-profits plus his salary to manage money. I would bet David Cohen is also getting kickbacks, commissions from others when he spends Gary's money.

In summary it looks like 90% of the money Gary gives, loans to 20 Million Minds is used on overhead, salary, office rent, furniture, consulting... 20 Million Minds just gives money to other organizations. Gary could save 90% of the money by getting rid of the office, employees and just being a name only organization that donates to non-profits who are actually doing the work. He's save money and still be able to take credit.

Here is the most recent 990 for Found Animals. He gave a whopping $2.5 million towards the $75,000,000 Prize(?). He started the Prize in 2008. Seven years later and he still hasn't awarded the prize and he never will. If he doesn't have a big piece of bologna on his head not even dogs will want to be his friend. Aimee Gilbreath now gets $300,000/year salary. She started at $180,000/yr. Who approves these raises? Gary is still giving Daniel Guss of the Stand Foundation money. Daniel Guss is a convicted criminal. He was found guilty of theft and sentenced. He's in contempt of a court order and on probation.

If you look at that 990 you will see Gary's other holding companies, organizations donating stock and other things to Found Animals. Is he dumping worthless shares on Found animals as some sort of tax evasion? If you look at these 990's it really looks like Gary Michelson using his non-profits for tax evasion. What's ironic is Gary accuses art museums of being tax evasion.

A last thought on Gary Michelson's free text book idea. Why doesn't he force USC to use his free text books? After donating $50 million they should. USC won't do it because they'd lose a ton of money which they make buying, selling books at the USC book store.

Gary Michelson continues to abuse judicial process to harass, harm Neil and Richard

Gary Michelson's attorneys have been filing motion after motion for post judgment debtor examination and request for discovery just to harass Neil and Richard. He knows they are broke and he doesn't care. They need to file a motion for abuse of process and request sanctions.

I was lucky in my case when the other side filed motions to compel post trial discovery. The Judge never set a hearing or ruled on it. It was denied by operation of law within 75 days. I did file a reply to their motion for post trial discovery. It would not have led to anything discoverable. It was done for harassment purposes only. The Judge in the civil case needs to put a stop to this abuse of process.

I just looked at some docs. Richard had a lawyer file a reply to the motion to compel discovery. Richard stated he had no responsive documents which I can believe. Judge still told Richard to write in his reply that he swears he has no responsive documents. I assume he did that. Both sides agreed to postpone the debtor examination to December 1, 2014. I hope Richard, Neil's lawyer can file a motion for abuse of process to get Gary to stop with the post judgment harassment. Gary continues to beat this dead horse for his personal pleasure. If Gary read the declaration Richard wrote, he is truly an evil man for continuing to attack him. You can't get blood out of a turnip. You can't find peace, happiness, satisfaction by trying to torment someone.

On another note I hope Gary didn't do anything to Robert Knowles because of the outcome of this case. It's not Knowles' fault that Gary is a liar and there was no crime. I think he did the best he could considering there was no evidence of a crime. I'm amazed they were found guilty of one count.

I added a new keyword. It's #forbes400  I'm now positive that Gary told David Cohen to lie and post all over the Internet that he was making lots of money off teak farms, real estate...when he probably wasn't. Gary can join a list of other crazy billionaires who are pissed they aren't on the list or aren't ranked high enough.

Here is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. He intentionally juggles his stock before the list comes out so he'll look wealthier. He got pissed that they didn't believe his self-reported wealth so he doesn't want to have anything to do with Forbes. He then sued Forbes for defamation but never served them.

Gary Michelson hired Scripps employees to write his medical blog

It looks like Gary Michelson hired a Scripps employee and a Swedish student to write medical articles for his blog. Michelson Medical has nothing to do with the content of the articles. It appears he is having these people write blog articles to make it appear that Michelson Medical is actually doing things. As I look at it he put $108M into the non-profit but has only spent $5M.

Gary Michelson, Dean Florez pay fake reporters to write fake articles about 20 Million Minds

Dr Gary Michelson pays fake reporters to write ads that read like articles. Gary Michelson is paying people to write articles that make it seem like 20 Million Minds is not only needed but doing good work. At least this one reporter disclaimed that she was paid to write this fluff editorial/ad piece.

I saw almost identical articles like this that didn't have the disclaimer. Legally they must disclose if it's a paid article or not. Metro admits they are a marketing company which sells ads. In their disclaimer they state they don't vouch for the validity of anything they write. Paying for fake articles is what paid stock promoters do.

Gary Michelson's 20 Million Minds was just named a top non-profit in CQ magazine. CQ magazine is paid PR, media, promotion. 20 Million Minds doesn't even have a Guidestar or Charity Navigator account. That means they are a shitty charity. Gary Michelson paid CQ magazine to write an article about him.
