Benjamin Franklin, inventor, ambassador, politician...and his face is on money.

I was trying to find out how many inventions Benjamin Franklin made. I thought perhaps Gary Michelson might have been talking about the number of Franklin's inventions and not patents. Guess what? No one knows how many things he invented mainly because he didn't patent them. Ben also discovered many things which are not inventions. Then how could Gary Michelson ever say he is only one patent short of Benjamin Franklin? Gary Michelson just loves to tell stories. He even pays people to videotape him when he tells his stories.

On the surface this looks like Gary Michelson didn't bother to find out how many "patents" or inventions Benjamin Franklin made. It's worse than that, much worse. Gary Michelson grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went to high school, college and medical school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Benjamin Franklin lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was even the President of Pennsylvania. Franklin started the first fire department ever and the first fire insurance company in Philadelphia. Franklin was an ambassador, politician, writer, scientist, oceanographer, optometrist, printer ... and started the first university in Pennsylvania. There is no way that Gary Michelson didn't know all of that about Ben Franklin when he made that ridiculous statement. I would say Benjamin Franklin is the most famous person in Pennsylvania and more specifically Philadelphia where Gary was born and grew up.

Gary Michelson whines about being the younger child who didn't get enough attention from his mom. He said this caused him to have issues in school. Ben Franklin was the 15th of 20 children and the  youngest son. Franklin only went to two years of schooling. He taught himself everything else by reading. Gary Michelson needs to stop whining and blaming others for his problems. I really think there was something wrong with Gary since birth.
