Dr Gary Michelson still fighting with Forbes to be on their "list" - ex-Forbes billionaire

Gary Michelson was complaining, whining to David Cohen about the fact that he was no longer on the Forbes 400 list. He kept making David Cohen call Forbes and tell Forbes he had more money than he has. Finally, Forbes caves and accepts his $1.6B figure to presumably put him back on the real time list.

FOUNDER OF MLG AUTOMOTIVE LAW UP FOR PULITZER PRIZE

Newport Beach, California (February 18, 2015) – Jonathan Michaels, founding member of MLG Automotive Law, is being considered for a Pulitzer Prize in Journalism for his work on the General Motors ignition switch recall. In early 2014, Michaels authored several articles that appeared on the front page of the Los Angeles Daily Journal, helping to expose GM’s decadelong coverup of the deadly defect. Michaels’ journalistic work lead to MLG’s filing of a national class action against GM. It is widely-expected that the ignition switch concealment will cost GM billions.

When the story broke, GM admitted that it had been concealing 12 consumer deaths that were related to the ignition switch defect. Michaels reported that he believed the number to be much higher. Since that time, GM has set up a victim compensation fund through well-known mediator Ken Feinberg who has approved payment on 52 death claims. Feinberg received a total of 462 death claims, many of which are still under consideration.

Established in 1917 and administered by Columbia University, Pulitzer Prizes are awarded annually by a panel of 102 judges for achievements in journalism, literature and musical composition. Prior winners have included Robert Frost, Tennessee Williams and John Steinbeck. The results of this year’s competition will be announced on April 20.

Michaels, who attended the April 2014 congressional hearings where GM chief executive Mary Barra testified, has been intimately involved in the developments of the ignition switch recall. Michaels has been called on by the New York Times, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal for relevant comment. “For all the families who have suffered so greatly, I am grateful that justice is finally being delivered,” said Michaels. “The road has been treacherous, but for those who believe in what they are doing, the result has been tremendous. Knowing that we have made a difference has made it all worthwhile.”

Gary Michelson hired a "hit man" in the UK to get rid of things he doesn't like, crazy Forbes billionaire

UPDATE: I just got a notice on another blog about a copyright issue. A person who states he is a legal representative of Gary and Alya Michelson told the blog that the below photo is "personal, private and copyrighted." Try not to laugh.

The pic of Gary Michelson is ten years old. It was a public pic taken for media purposes by someone not related to Gary. This photo has been on the Internet ten years and no one has ever asked to take it down. The photo of Alya Michelson is from her Russian mail order bride posting. This is her promotional photo which she posted online years ago when trying to find a rich man. Both of these photos and others have been edited by me. All of the pics in the banner are public photos which have been on the Internet a long time. For instance Gary Michelson's grandmother and dog pictured are both deceased. "Forbes" is crossed out.

Again, under the fair use of copyright this is all legal. On top of this the pics in question were not something to do sold like paparazzi pics of celebs. Crazy Gary. Looks like Gary Michelson is trying to generate even more negative press for himself. His person even committed perjury in their statements besides lying about many other things. Gary is the one who posted these images on the internet to try to improve his horrible image and reputation.

This hit man in the UK threatens to sue everyone yet he's never filed a lawsuit in the United States. He filed some in the UK which he lost. He mainly goes after people posting copyrighted music and video. Quite a few lawyers have posted that the person is committing perjury and threatening lawsuits with no basis. He is an attorney in the UK. He could be disbarred for what he has done. He also files copyright notices when he doesn't represent the person legally. Quite a few people said he rips off his clients.

Gary targeted someone else previously. His web dude just targeted me. The host in question sent me this. They will not remove the images because they are allowed under the fair use of copyright act.

Gary Michelson has paid a man to try to illegally take down blogs and websites. Gary Michelson is trying to bully free speech. Gary Michelson hired a man to perjure, threaten, lie and cheat American companies to try to get unflattering images of himself removed. Gary Michelson is using his money to try to illegally shut up anyone who speaks about him. Gary Michelson doesn't like when people talk about his failures, short comings, mistakes and all the illegal things he has done such as perjury. Gary Michelson hired a bully to try to bully people into silence. What he is doing is threatening a "strategic litigation against public participation" lawsuit against others.

This blog uses photos, video snippets, text snippets from some materials not all of which are copyrighted. This blog is non-commercial public comment on issues of public concern. These items are being used under the fair use of copyright act which is quoted in this blog. Here in the US if you state someone has used a copyrighted image, you must sue them within 15 days of filing a complaint with the host. If not, the material comes right back. On top of this you can't copyright an image which you have given to the press to use. That means you gave permission for its use and it is therefore privileged. Not only that but the statute of limitations is three years for copyright, two years for defamation. Gary seems to have gotten his panties wadded up in a bunch again. If Gary Michelson didn't do these horrible things to people, no one would be writing all the negatives articles that they write. In fact the ONLY positive articles are written by people paid by Gary. Gary spent $50 million to buy good press from USC. Everyone at USC knows he's a fraud. Besides the DA's office, USC is number two reader of this blog.

There are four main points in this writ of mandate. The one charge was actually barred by the statute of limitations. Even then the one charge should have been reduced to a misdemeanor and dismissed.

I knew that Gary Michelson stole his only valuable invention the threaded spinal cage from a horse veterinarian. I read about it in an orthopedic magazine. I didn't realize that this fact is very widely known. The original doctors just wanted to save the life of a horse. They weren't looking at money. Bagby made and used one of his first baskets in 1977. This is 20 years BEFORE Gary Michelson patented the device. In fact Gary Michelson patented the device without actually making or using it. It wasn't developed and used until later. Gary Michelson merely stole Bagby's idea and ran to the patent office before he and a human doctor could patent it. This invention is the one that made Gary all the money.

Closing arguments of defense in Gary Michelson criminal fraud trial - Forbes, billionaire, USC

Jonathan Michaels is a wonderful lawyer. He was able to take these important and complex issues of law and translate them for the laymen jury in an easy to understand manner. As I read them I can clearly tell there was no crime, no fraud just a disgruntled ex-friend of a defendant. For the District Attorney to use a supposed computer expert Scott Cooper who is a personal friend of the supposed victim Gary Michelson is absurd. Scott Cooper was hired by Gary Michelson as a computer forensic expert for his legal cases. For now here are the minutes of Jonathan Michaels closing argument for the defendants.

Page 12 Gary's own employee Andre Martin admits the land is worth "50 MILLION TO 70 MILLION DOLLARS." Then he obviously didn't lose any money.

Page 13 Gary's own employee David Cohen admits the land is a great investment ""WE ALSO HAVE A MEANINGFUL TIMBER INVESTMENT IN CENTRAL AMERICAN HARD WOODS. THIS INCLUDES BUILDING ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST TEAK PLANTATIONS WHICH WILL BE AN EXCELLENT INVESTMENT."

Page 16 is the crux of this entire case. This proves there was no crime and Gary was fully aware of all facts. This is from Gary's own employee to Gary. "THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PURCHASE PRICE THAT THE COSTA RICAN COMPANY PAYS FOR THE PROPERTY AND THE  PRICE THAT C & M PAYS TO THE OFF SHORE COMPANY IS A PORTION OF MR. POWERS COMPENSATION AND IS PAID BY C & M TO THE OFF SHORE CORPORATION."

Page 26 all counts are time barred. "SO DID THE LAWSUIT BEGIN WITHIN SEVEN YEARS OF SEPTEMBER 2005? NO, NO. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SEPTEMBER 2012. IT WAS FILED MARCH 2013."

I sat through quite a few proceedings in this case. I did research of my own in English and Spanish. I can tell there was no crime. No money was taken. Gary agreed to the purchase prices, gave money and received the property. Gary sold the property for a profit. Gary was aware that Powers' company took a markup. There was never a six percent commission agreement anywhere. Gary was aware of how much of the land was planted. Gary committed perjury many times on the stand and in sworn statements. All of these events, purchase transactions happened long before the statute of limitations. They should have been found innocent of all counts. They should be vindicated in appeals court.
