Gary Michelson USC Building Not Impressive in Person, USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience

I was on USC campus to support Jewish people at the pro Palestinian protest today. I took the above photo. I dropped by USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience aka Michelson Hall. It looks very different than the photos online. It's on a small narrow private street on the inside edge of campus. It faces the back of the psychology building and a trash area. All that money to get his name plastered all over the building and no one will ever see it. It's near maintenance buildings. It's wedged in between buildings. Looks nothing like the drawings below. That's what you get for $50,000,000? 190,000 sf so $263/ft. 

In the meantime Darla Moore gave $75,000,000 to USC. She doesn't want her name on a building. She didn't force USC to have a marching band play for her. She didn't ask for a special cake with her name on it like Gary did. She didn't ask for so much media, press releases... Difference between a happy secure person and a miserable insecure person.
