SACRAMENTO -- Former California Senate Majority Leader Dean Florez faces record fines for campaign violations that include using $26,541 in political funds for his personal benefit to buy furniture, concert tickets, fireworks, satellite radio, travel, expensive dinners and gasoline.
Florez, a Democrat who represented a San Joaquin Valley district until 2010, has agreed to pay $60,000 in fines, according to documents released Monday by the state Fair Political Practices Commission.
The ethics agency found that Florez made 168 personal purchases from campaign committees he set up for an abandoned 2010 run for lieutenant governor and a 2014 candidacy for state controller.
The penalty is “the largest fine in California history” involving personal use of campaign funds, according to Gary Winuk, chief of enforcement for the FPPC.
In all, Florez admitted to 12 counts of violating campaign rules, including failure to return $247,000 he had raised for his lieutenant governor campaign after he abandoned it three months before the June 2010 primary.
“The failure by a candidate to refund contributions meant for a campaign that the candidate never participated in is a serious violation of the act, as it undermines the public’s trust that their contributions will be used appropriately,” said a report by the FPPC staff.
The commission is scheduled to meet Nov. 14 to consider the penalty agreed to between Florez and the FPPC enforcement staff.
Florez, an investment banker before his election, spent $6,700 in campaign funds on gasoline for personal driving as well as on purchases at Ikea, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Beck’s Furniture and Bed Bath & Beyond determined not to be legitimate campaign expenses, the FPPC report said.
The report does not identify which travel was deemed personal, but during the period investigated, Florez tapped his campaigns for trips to Chicago, New York, Houston, Santa Monica, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.
He also spent money on a yearlong subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio, monthly parking passes, a golf shirt and Internet, cable TV and phone bills unrelated to his campaign, the report said."

Dean Florez was basically booted out of politics because he stole campaign money and used it on himself. He received the highest ethics violation fine in California history. This was only 2013. This has caused Gary to go into pr over drive. He reposts any positive article many times. He pays people to write glowing articles about him. Now he's taking to posting images of the articles as well as the articles.
Notice the baloney in the photo above. I doubt Gary had anything to do with it.
What he enjoys most "Making the world a better place. Doing good in the world." Let's see filing false criminal complaints against innocent people does not make the world a better place.
"Toughest challenge." "A dysfunctional and violent childhood." Funny none of his brothers had a similar experience. His mother seems like a real nice person.
"Best advice." "If you are not a businessman - don't." He should have taken his own advice. In fact he has people running his businesses and he still gets ripped off. He took some bad tax advice and was fined I think $20 million by the IRS. He sued and lost, appealed and lost again.
"Bucket list." "Take my wife out for dinner." Someone doesn't know what a bucket list is. A bucket list is a list of things you want to do once before you die. This means he's never gone out to dinner with his Russian mail order bride. He makes her hide at home.

And another thing I found some newspaper ads by Gary Michelson. He was a sports medicine doctor. Sports medicine doctors generally work on knees, shoulders, elbows and not backs. Gary tells people he was a back surgeon. Per his medical license he was not board certified. He didn't state areas of practice. He has nothing to do with patient care, research or teaching. I was told that Gary wasn't good at sports. I know he wasn't involved in any in high school. He wasn't even a member of any club or group unlike his brothers who played a few sports, musical instruments, were in clubs, groups.... Gary seemed to be the only kid in his high school who wasn't involved in any sport, club or group. I was told that is why Gary gravitated to sports medicine. He wanted to meet athletes and sports figures. I was also told that he had major social issues which is why he is not a people person. At the last party he threw for his adoptandshop he basically stood by himself the entire night.

Gary Michelson at Found Animals Foundation gala in West Hollywood, California
Gary Michelson had his 5th Gala to honor people in animal welfare. I support his honorees Cory Booker, Best Friends, Halo. They have helped animals. I'm pretty sure Best Friends knows all about Gary Michelson. I don't think Cory Booker knows the real Gary Michelson. I started this blog to educate the public about issues of grave public concern about Gary Michelson. People need to be very cautious with Gary because of his history.

Dr Gary Michelson and his amazing story telling - Spine, Medtronic, billionaire
The Found Animals Foundation just sent an email saying they're doing "Great!" Gary has allegedly invested $100,000,000 in lots of research projects to find a one dose permanent sterilant for cats, dogs. It's been 11 years and he still hasn't found one. He keeps giving grants for needless experiments. The doctors beg for the grants to get the money. They have no goal to find a sterilant. If they did, there wouldn't be any more grants. Gary then blasts other researchers who do needless experiments just to get grants. Meanwhile there are already FDA approved drugs he could buy and use to sterilize the animals. He instead insists of spending lots of money to try to find a new one so he can patent it and make money. The patent and money are the true goals of Dr Gary Michelson. He obviously doesn't really care about the animals.
The email told everyone to read this nice article the Jewish Journal wrote about him back in March. I don't have a problem with the Jewish Journal writing the article. They wrote what he told them to write. They are a great periodical.

The Jewish Journal of course wants some of Gary's money, another reason for the article. From the article, "Asked why he has not made Jewish charities a focus of his work, Michelson said, “To me, that’s like a small-world view of things. It’s never occurred to me to ask what religion people are." Remember this line folks in case anyone ever asks you to donate to a religious cause. Gary will continue to dangle his money in front of people hoping to get praise like this article.
My issue with the article is the grandma story. It keeps changing getting more dramatic with every telling. He has since added a new story about how he was able to not get kicked out of med school when he refused to needlessly operate on an animal. In the story he found a way to use a little girl's rib to repair a leg injury so she wouldn't need her leg amputated. This changed the school's mind about kicking him out. Doctors have been doing bone grafts for years using ribs. He's not that old. The med school also wanted his tuition money. I doubt he would have been kicked out for not operating on a dog. He previously stated he refused to operate on a dog in med school. The "almost got kicked out" is a new part to the story. His miracle save is also new. And heaven forbid he not slam his parents some more, he states that his mom and dad were violent and would hit him. His only friend was the family dog. Oddly his brothers had a fine relationship with the mom, don't know about the dad who is now deceased.
The article ends with this.
“What do I want on my tombstone?” he said. “ ‘He made a difference. He tried to change the world, and to leave it a little bit better.’”
That won't be his legacy. His legacy will be as a man with no friends, no family except the new wife, kids he bought who don't like him. He'll be known as a man who thinks the world has cheated him, taken advantage of him. He is a man consumed by vengeance against others who just didn't want to be his friend because he's unstable, crazy and not very nice. He'll be known as the man who stole his main "invention" from a horse veterinarian. He'll be known as a man who publicly brags about his "big hands" any chance he gets with an evil smile. Based on my experience that generally means an inverse relationship. It also shows his major insecurities besides his juvenile psyche. He's 67 years old. He'll also be known as a man in turmoil over his closeted homosexual status. Can't come out when you come from a conservative Russian Jewish family from the east coast. Everyone knows. It's even been in public court documents.
He won't be known for helping the world. He filed patents to make money not to help people. If he wanted to help people, he'd make his patents free. That would probably save $50,000 on each back surgery. People would be able to afford the surgery if he hadn't patented the horse vet's invention. Benjamin Franklin was a renown inventor who actually helped the world because he didn't patent anything. Franklin stated that patents don't help society. Patents are for people only interested in money and ego. That is Gary Michelson. Gary even had the nerve to make that ridiculous video where he states he has one fewer patent than Benjamin Franklin. That would mean he has -1 patent. Gary wants people to think he's as bright as Franklin. How dumb does someone have to be to not realize Franklin made thousands of inventions but he had zero patents intentionally. If I could invent something that would save people's lives, I'd give it away for free. Any sane person would.

Alya Michelson update - Dr Gary Michelson's Russian mail order bride - name trademark
What has Alya Michelson Alyaunte been up to recently after having three children for Gary and working part time at her kids' school? She's back to moping around the Internet, hooking up with her Russian friends online, getting fitness tips to get back in shape, posting about handsome young guys... She now states she's single, living in Moscow and is five years younger than she is. She also trademarked her new name i.e. "Alevtina Gold Michelson."

This reminds me of the Citizen Kane story. Wealthy man basically buys a wife. Wife wants to be an actress. Husband pays people to help her act, put her in movies, sing .... Unfortunately wife is a shitty actress. Her work gets bad reviews. Cut to "Rosebud!"
Alya is pretty and she can act enough to put on a good face for Gary. I've listened to a few of the songs the Russian guy made for her. I don't think she can sing very well. She also can't speak English very well.
And this reminds me of another paid marriage, Donald Trump and Melania. Melania was basically a call girl per many sources. Her "agent" introduced her to Trump. Trump can't be seen with just a call girl. He tries to make her a "model." Notice Melania got all of her modeling gigs after meeting Trump. Melania met Trump before 1993. I would bet Trump helped her get to the US. I bet Trump got her the visa. Trump lies and states Melania is educated, speaks many languages... Michelson states Alya has multiple degrees, speaks many languages...just like Melania. The parallels to Gary Michelson are unnerving. Who would really care if they admitted to having an uneducated, non-model mail order bride? If they both agree to it, I'm fine with it. These guys' egos are the reason they have to make up the bullshit stories.
Gary Michelson is now 66 years old an official senior citizen. With the stress he's causing himself with the current lawsuits I doubt he'll live a long life. He looked pretty bad last time I saw him in court. I can't imagine how he feels basically losing the fake criminal suit against his ex-friends. Yes, he won the civil but what did he get? Neil's home in Florida and his personal belongings. I bet Gary paid millions in legal fees, costs...to get a few hundred grand of garish home decor items. I don't think that is enough pounds of flesh to satisfy Gary's compulsive need to hurt people because of his own insecurities and mental issues. I believe that Gary will cause himself more stress which will continue to negatively affect his heart, brain, organs....and cause him to die an early death. At least Alya will then be free to have a real relationship, life, career and family. Alyaunte.

In her own name she trademarked "Japanica" the old name she used as a band, artist. It's also the name of a few Japanese restaurants. Odd she still wants the name "Gold" as her middle name. When you are a professional gold digger who nabbed a billionaire, do you really need the name "Gold" in your name?

This reminds me of the Citizen Kane story. Wealthy man basically buys a wife. Wife wants to be an actress. Husband pays people to help her act, put her in movies, sing .... Unfortunately wife is a shitty actress. Her work gets bad reviews. Cut to "Rosebud!"
Alya is pretty and she can act enough to put on a good face for Gary. I've listened to a few of the songs the Russian guy made for her. I don't think she can sing very well. She also can't speak English very well.
And this reminds me of another paid marriage, Donald Trump and Melania. Melania was basically a call girl per many sources. Her "agent" introduced her to Trump. Trump can't be seen with just a call girl. He tries to make her a "model." Notice Melania got all of her modeling gigs after meeting Trump. Melania met Trump before 1993. I would bet Trump helped her get to the US. I bet Trump got her the visa. Trump lies and states Melania is educated, speaks many languages... Michelson states Alya has multiple degrees, speaks many languages...just like Melania. The parallels to Gary Michelson are unnerving. Who would really care if they admitted to having an uneducated, non-model mail order bride? If they both agree to it, I'm fine with it. These guys' egos are the reason they have to make up the bullshit stories.
Gary Michelson is now 66 years old an official senior citizen. With the stress he's causing himself with the current lawsuits I doubt he'll live a long life. He looked pretty bad last time I saw him in court. I can't imagine how he feels basically losing the fake criminal suit against his ex-friends. Yes, he won the civil but what did he get? Neil's home in Florida and his personal belongings. I bet Gary paid millions in legal fees, costs...to get a few hundred grand of garish home decor items. I don't think that is enough pounds of flesh to satisfy Gary's compulsive need to hurt people because of his own insecurities and mental issues. I believe that Gary will cause himself more stress which will continue to negatively affect his heart, brain, organs....and cause him to die an early death. At least Alya will then be free to have a real relationship, life, career and family. Alyaunte.
